THE PHASE EFFECT

​

The PHASE EFFECT is a training method for students who have fallen far back in their fitness conditioning and know they can't just join a class with students that exceed their fitness level.

 

Pulse is a closed group comprised of women who are restarting at the same general fitness level.

 

Closed groups with dedicated instructors allow us to offer one class that evolves as the group progresses in physical capability and confidence. Since new students are not accepted after the program kicks off the coaches have maximum ​flexibility to move the group through the stages of conditioning together..

​

We use a principle called "F.I.T.T." to create the program. FITT is an acronym for Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type.

 

And we incorporate 4 dimensions in the the class as it evolves over the first 6 weeks. We start with Cardio in a 30 minute class, add Flexibility Fitness, Balance and Strength components in 2 week increments and go from 30 to 45 minutes and 60 minutes over the first 6 weeks.

 

This format ensures a safe, smooth and effective physical transformation that prepares students for more intense training as they transition into traditional programs and classes.

STRENGTH

Strength is an important aspect of Pulse Training! Increasing lean muscle not only impacts your tone it is highly beneficial to your metabolic process and this is one of the keys to fat loss.  A leaner, fitter body simply burns more calories!

Every phase of the PULSE Get Your Body Back program involves the use of muscles across the body and as your endurance and strength increases so will the intensity of your exercise.

 

Muscular strength and muscular endurance are two different aspects of muscle performance. Muscular strength is how much weight you can push, pull or lift one time. Muscular endurance is how much weight you can lift repetitively. PULSE Training will help you improve both dimensions while developing your capabilities in other dimensions at the same time.

Fun, Motivating and Fitness Level Synced Group Fitness!

The PULSE Get Your Body Back program offers modified group fitness classes based on your fitness level. These classes utilize popular formats but are modified to a lower starting intensity level, progressing consistently so that by the end of the program you are working at a normal level and can take traditional classes with ease.  You will have your own station with over a dozen tools to use during your entire 45 minute station so no moving around the room with various modalities that have to be learned. 

​

The objective in PULSE class is to raise the heart rate, move the body to music, stretch, work on balance and strength as well as build the core! Oh yeah and have a lot of fun doing it!

There is a Personal Trainer and a Nutritionist INSIDE YOU! LET US HELP YOU BRING HER OUT!​

LEVEL-UP MEETINGS are held in the Partner Gym every other week. Meetings last about an hour and are facilitated by your Program Director. Meetings are interactive and have three core subjects: Fitness training education, Nutrition Education and trouble shooting.

​

We know you're busy and one of the hardest things is adding new activity to your schedule but fear not, Educational content is delivered right on your phone. Your nutrition coaching can be done any time of the day as all live coaching sessions are taped and posted in the Facebook group.
